Welcome to Year 8 Mathematics!

Year 8 Mathematics builds on the foundations from earlier years, introducing more complex concepts in number, algebra, geometry, and statistics. Students develop problem-solving skills, mathematical reasoning, and the ability to apply maths in real-world contexts. The curriculum covers key areas such as fractions, decimals, percentages, equations, inequalities, properties of shapes, transformations, data handling, and probability.

This year focuses on deepening understanding through practical applications and preparing students for more advanced topics in KS4.
